The Moore River enters the ocean here with the area having much to offer the holiday maker. The river and beach are perfectly safe to enjoy. Our user friendly cottage is adjacent to the beach which is ideal for swimming, surfing, sunbathing, beach combing, and fishing, diving or simply watching the sunset while enjoying a quiet drink.

Canoe, paddle boat and dingy hire are available at the river mouth.

All parks in town are free of charge including the skateboard park.

Alfresco Dining in style under the gazebo: the gas barbecue, electricity, outdoor setting and large African thatch gazebo make for long breakfasts that stretch into lunch. Ensuring a gentle breeze and an ambience that just can’t be bought.

‘The Bali Bar’ as it is affectionately known is a smaller African thatch located at the front of the cottage. Bar stools are provided, with beach sand at your feet to run through your toes as you sip a cocktail or two, whilst the children are safely playing nearby. Listen to the sounds of the waves breaking on the shore. A gas barbecue is provided here too, should you wish to indulge in some gourmet delights.

Gardens designed for enjoyment or reflection, your call. There are areas designed for quiet reflection, conversation or if you prefer games on the lawn.

The Moore River is safe for swimming, fishing, sailing, canoeing, exploring the upper reaches and sand boarding at The Desert

Parks, all the parks in town are free. They are well maintained with play equipment for the children and many with gas barbecues.

The Sport and Recreation Club welcomes visitors for a meal, a game of pool, mini golf, tennis, golf or an end of lawn bowls. Enjoy the club prices and congenial company.
